#HyderabadLiberationDay celebrations, held under the auspices of the Government of India at Secunderabad Parade Grounds, unfolded with utmost splendor, vividly showcasing Telangana's cultural vibrancy. The parade of Central Armed Police Forces, cultural programs reflecting the grandeur of Telangana's folk traditions, over 800 artists vividly portraying in various forms the tyrannical Nizam rule of yore and the atrocities of the Razakars through their art.. Traditional art forms like Bonalu, Dappu, and Gussadi stood out as special attractions.
The chief guest at these celebrations, Vice President of India Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, Telangana Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, and Union Minister of Culture Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, while speaking.. recalled the steely resolve of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who liberated Hyderabad through Operation Polo and integrated it into the Indian Union. They remembered the sacrifices of the immortals who laid down their lives in the liberation struggle.
Along with Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan Ji and Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Ji, I paid homage to the martyrs at the War Memorial, Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, today ahead of the Hyderabad Liberation Day Celebrations.
